Even more technically ground-breaking than it is visually impressive, this Legacy Machine redesigned how perpetual calendars compute date changes over a 4-year cycle. Designed by Stephen McDonnell, the mechanical processor at 6 o'clock controls the length of each month and allows the user to set the date swiftly and safely with the push buttons in the case band. Presented for the first time in stainless steel with a beautifully coppery 'salmon' dial, this execution really allowed the micro-mechanical elements of traditional watchmaking and 21st century know-how to shine. This mind boggling ‘machine’ stands for everything this independent brand is known for, and is presented in outstanding condition, with the original MB&F box and paperwork.
