In 2024, Cartier refreshed the Tank Américaine line with a platinum large model featuring a salmon Art Deco dial. It has a simplified display with only hour and minute hands, revised proportions, and measures 44.4 × 24.4 × 8.7 mm.

A ruby-set, polished crown marks it as a platinum Cartier. The dial shifts to a bold, geometric Art Deco look: a rich two-tone salmon scheme that complements the cool platinum case. The railroad minute track moves to the outer edge, most numerals are removed, and the remaining four Roman numerals sit within an Art Deco frame over a radially brushed background.

This new version is a refined, contemporary take that sharpens the Tank’s elegance while amplifying its architectural character—cleaner lines, stronger contrasts, and a cohesive palette that elevates legibility and presence on the wrist, all while honoring the model’s heritage with modern updates.
