Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph
Ref. 5970R-001
Initially launched in white gold and subsequently offered in pink gold, as seen here, the reference 5970 was later produced in yellow gold and platinum, and from 2004 to 2011 it represented the final perpetual calendar chronograph from Patek Philippe to house the Lemania 2310-based movement. Stylistically, the 5970 draws inspiration from earlier references yet presents them through a distinctly contemporary lens: with a 40 mm case and sharp, faceted lugs, it marked a clear step up in size compared with its predecessor, the reference 3970, while still preserving excellent balance on the wrist and maintaining both visual harmony and exceptional wearing comfort.
